Dragon Eggs for George (click to see more)
As a long-time fan of George R. R. Martin's fantasy book series "A Song of Ice and Fire", I jumped at the opportunity to go to one of his book readings at Seattle Town Hall in July 2012. I collaborated with fellow fan and metalsmith extraordinaire Naomi Landig to make a set of three dragon egg brooches, with the initial of each dragon's name on the back.
I'm pleased to report that he's been seen wearing the copper one on his hat!
